Danielle is a native New Yorker who grew up in Belgium before making her way back home. During the day, she works to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry. Outside of work, she writes creative nonfiction. Her work most recently appeared in We Rise to Resist: Voices from a New Era in Women’s Political Action, The New Engagement, Yes Ma’am, and the Oakland Arts Review. Danielle is Jewish and Jamaican, and identity, immigration, and the effects of violence are recurring themes in her work. Danielle received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the Writer’s Foundry at St. Joseph’s College, where she also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief for The Canopy Review. She is currently working on a translation project and a novel.
